New CAHS Library Website

Welcome to the new CAHS Library website. We have re-designed our website to make it easier for you to access our online resources and services. Don’t forget access is still available from home.

Find It @ CAHS Linking Service

This is a new service to improve access to the CAHS e-journal collection and document delivery service.

The Find it @ CAHS button appears when browsing the journal directory and is displayed next to search results when searching the databases. When you click the button, you will be taken to the individual article or e-journal that you want to view. If the article or journal you want to view is not held at CAHS, you can immediately submit a document delivery request. It’s so easy!

The library will be offering training sessions on the new Find It @ CAHS linking service soon. Please contact us on 9340 8464 if you need any help.

Restored access to Ovid databases

The library is now able to provide access to Medline and PsycINFO via Ovid as an alternative to the Ebsco software. Ovid have upgraded their software recently and you will discover some new functionality such as a ‘Google-style’ basic search. Ovid still provides subject heading searching via the Advanced Ovid Search tab.
